Executive Chef Dan Hong keeps the stakes high at Mr. Wong, serving a Cantonese-style nine-dish feast with a glass of Veuve Clicquot ($185), while Jacob Davey presents un unforgettable three-course dining experience at est. ivy, Sydney’s leading dining and lifestyle precinct, will be bursting with race day revelry. Guests can party Italian Riviera-style at the stunning ivy Pool Club ($150) or settle in for a four-course Italian feast at uccello ($295). They can watch the passing parade at Ash St. Cellar ($150) or make their day trés magnifique with a long lunch at Felix ($235). At Palings, punters can enjoy a loud and lively Cup Day and settle into ivy’s charming open-air courtyard while enjoying a three-course menu ($120), while early birds can head in from 11am to catch all the pre-race action and jockey for position in front of the CBD’s largest screen. The Den will come alive for a stylish soiree with roving canapes and three hours of flowing drinks ($110) and ivy’s Den and Lounge and ivy Bar and Den booth packages provide corporate hospitality at its best, with personal waiter service ($200). In the tree-lined streets of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Executive Chef Ben Greeno will serve up his signature rotisserie at The Paddington ($115), while the upstairs bar offers canapes and a three-hour beverage package ($125). Award-winning Danielle Alvarez is creating a bespoke four course menu of her ethically produced, seasonal fare at Fred’s, matched with a flute of Veuve Clicquot ($200). Just downstairs, neighbourhood speakeasy Charlie Parker’s offers roving canapes ($55) and cocktails by the award- winning team. New addition, The Centennial provides an elegant celebration in the dining room with a three-course menu by Ben Greeno and a flute of NV Ruinart ($195) or high-tables and roving canapes for groups.

Guests can hook a winner at The Fish Shop ($95), indulge in an eight-course Asian fusion feast at Ms.G’s ($95) or head to the nearby Beresford Courtyard ($85) and catch the nail-biting action. For race-goers wanting an ocean view with the race, Merivale’s stunning beachside venue Coogee Pavilion offers a coastal three-course feast in the ground-floor restaurant ($120), canapes and beach views on the Rooftop ($85) and walk-ins welcome in the Ground Floor.

Over the bridge, punters can place their bets on Bert’s Bar & Brasserie as Jordan Toft serves canapes on arrival followed by a three-course meal ($185) and Fashions on the Field for the fiercest fashionistas. For a more relaxed affair, the stunning views of Pittwater in The Newport Courtyard provide the perfect backdrop for the race that stops a nation on the big screen ($60). Beachfront local The Collaroy’s relaxed four-course menu ($140) in the upstairs restaurant allows guests to settle in for the long run and downstairs is perfect for those who prefer to go without plans. Closer to the city, royalty of the wharf Queen Chow Manly is offering an eight-course banquet of delicious dim sum and Cantonese favourites ($120).

Win in the Inner-West at Queen Chow Enmore, with a lavish nine-course banquet ($110) while private spaces and group bar bookings are available in the main bar. Punters can enjoy a loud and lively Cup Day at Marrickville local Vic on the Park with shared starters, mains and desserts on the deck ($45) or a three- course banquet in the bistro ($45), while the main bar is open to walk-ins.
